Poorly fitting tack is a source of distress, pain and an eventual cause of unsoundness in your horse. Many horses develop bucking, rearing, and other avoidance behaviors to communicate to us pain they cannot otherwise relate to us. A too narrow saddle tree, a cheap pad, and a bit stretching the corners of their mouth is cause enough for intolerable pain. We must be able to fit a saddle properly to the horse's conformation, adjust the tack correctly and use products that will not sore a horse's back or mouth.
