Bonding and relaxing

Topper is not too sure about being measured. Looks a lot like an axe...

This gorgeous warmblood colt measures 15.3 hands as a 2 year old.

Topper is free to move away from me if he needs to have some space. I'll try to  move away from him first, then return to bonding and present the object again when he realizes he can choose to move his legs. This approach gives him some control over his emotional reactions and keeps me safer.
